InterswitchSPAK STEM competitions for form three students

InterswitchSPAK, the biggest Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) competition in Nigeria is now expanding into East Africa starting from Kenya. Thousands of secondary schools in Nigeria and Kenya have registered their students already. If you have not registered, you’re probably one of the few schools that are being waited for.
InterswitchSPAK National Science Competition is a High School Science Television contest show that started in Nigeria. It debuted in 2017 as SPAK (an acronym for Speed; Perseverance; Accuracy and Knowledge).

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Registration to participate is strictly online | Each School is required to present their BEST six (6) students in Science in form three (3) regardless of the Sex, religion, tribe or Region | Mixed-schools are required to have at least three female students-amongst the six (6) that would represent them | Every student will participate in the qualifying test at any of the test centres across Kenya | The top 54 students will proceed to the competition to battle for the crown of Kenya’s best science student

The students will compete with their peers across the country in a national competition that will see the winner receive a scholarship worth Kes 1.5million, a laptop, signage for their school while the 1st and 2nd runners up will get Kes 750,000 and Kes 150,000 respectively and a laptop each.
Competition is coordinated by InterSwitch which is huge in Science & Tech
