InterswitchSPAK National Science Competition is a High School Science Television contest show that started in Nigeria. It debuted in 2017 as SPAK (an acronym for Speed; Perseverance; Accuracy and Knowledge).
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Registration to participate is strictly online | Each School is required to present their BEST six (6) students in Science in form three (3) regardless of the Sex, religion, tribe or Region | Mixed-schools are required to have at least three female students-amongst the six (6) that would represent them | Every student will participate in the qualifying test at any of the test centres across Kenya | The top 54 students will proceed to the competition to battle for the crown of Kenya’s best science student
The students will compete with their peers across the country in a national competition that will see the winner receive a scholarship worth Kes 1.5million, a laptop, signage for their school while the 1st and 2nd runners up will get Kes 750,000 and Kes 150,000 respectively and a laptop each.
Competition is coordinated by InterSwitch which is huge in Science & Tech
