In the meeting it is expected that members will question the decision of the Sacco to invest in Spire bank. Majority of the members feel that the decision hasn't bore fruits to them. Infact it has costed them since the dividends of the year 2017 was reduced as compared to the previous year.
There will also be election of the delegate for Mekenene zone. There are four aspirants who have shown interest for that seat. However members claim that one of the aspirants is not from that region hence should not be allowed to contest. We wait for clarification from the officials.
Speaking to Douglas Oseko one of the front runners for the seat, her had this to say;
VOTE FOR UNITY AND SERVANT LEADERSHIP.
1. CUSHION GUARANTERS.Automatically attach the defaulters back to repay their loans immediately their payslips regain with or without consent. Based on earlier signed agreement on loaning.
2. Mobilize and recruit new members.
3. Update members on the Sacco's investment/ Value against share holding.
4. Running/ management charges against the growing membership. I.e the 300 charged monthly and the 20000/= shares that earns no dividend.
5. Members welfare- to reach every member.
Mr. Oseko is an ordinary teacher of mathematics and physics at AIC Ekerubo Gietai. He is not blessed with affluent resources but he is very generous with the little that he has.
Supporting an ordinary teacher with good ideas should be the way to go.
