Mwalimu National Branch A.G.M for Nyamira Branch ends unceremoniously.

Despite good attendance by members of the Mwalimu National Sacco the business of the day was not completed. Throughout the meeting there was noise and disagreement on who to speak and who not to. The intervention of the Nyamira KUPPET officials didn't make the situation any better.

Election was supposed to be conducted for four zones i.e Mekenene, Nyansiongo, Gachuba and Estate zones.

In Gachuba zone, zachary Ogendi was elected unopposed while in Estate zone, Zablon Onsoti was also elected unopposed.

Elections for Mekenene and Nyansiongo zone  postponned;

1 Members didn't understand the by-laws which Mr. Kwame introduced to govern the elections. The returning officer also claimed not be aware of said laws and asked for more time for him to do more consultation.

2. The seat for Nyansiongo zone wasn't advertised thou it was vacant. This omission led to an aspirant (who members doubted that he couldn't be a teacher) to immediately develop an interest for Nyansiongo zone.

Due to these reasons the meeting ended unceremoniously without even a closing prayer with many counting their loses.
